Electricity Engineers' Association (EEA) Scholarship

Brief Description:

The Electricity Engineers’ Association established the scholarship in 1996. It supports undergraduate Engineering students at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT) who have interests or capabilities relevant to electricity generation/transmission/distribution, electrical power systems, or electricity utilisation/products/plant.

Description:

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Application will be through the AUT Scholarships on-line portal.
  • Applicants will be expected to upload a two-page personal statement by the candidate based upon attributes outlined in the selection criteria.


Amount and Type of Award:

  • $4,500 paid by direct debit to the recipient’s nominated New Zealand bank account as soon as practicable after the scholarship offer has been accepted.


Tenure:

  • The tenure is for one year only.


Important Information:

  • The scholarship must be taken up in the year of application.
  • Unless otherwise specified in the offer letter, an offer of a scholarship will lapse if it is not formally accepted within one calendar month of the date of the offer.
  • The scholarship is co-tenable with any other award, unless the conditions of the other award preclude this.
