NZSL Scholarship - New Zealand Sign Language
Brief Description:
The Ministry of Economic Development funds scholarships to support students to contribute to building a qualified national NZSL interpreter workforce by becoming qualified NZSL interpreters.

for eligibility criteria.
Amount and Type of Award:
The scholarship will consist of an annual $5,000 contribution towards tuition fees for the second and third years of the BA in NZSL - English Interpreting degree; or $5,000 for one year for applicants holding the Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting who wish to complete the BA in NZSL - English Interpreting degree.
The total value of each award will be a maximum of $10,000 (for BA pathway) or $5,000 for the Diploma in Sign Language Interpreting pathway.
Tenure:
The tenure of the scholarship is for up to two years depending on the pathway to the BA in NZSL - English Interpreting degree.
