AUT International Scholarships – Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies - 2024

Brief Description:

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and the Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies provide scholarships to recognise and support high achieving international students as they begin their journey in becoming great graduates of AUT.

Applicants must be citizens of one of the following countries:
  • Southeast Asia: Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam
  • South Asia: Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives.

Amount and Type of Award:

AUT International Scholarships – Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies are divided into the following categories:

Masters Scholarships

·  Total number on offer: 60
·  Value: NZ$5,000
·  Tenure: One year only

Bachelors Scholarships

·  Total number on offer: 20
·  Value: NZ$5,000 in first year, NZ$3,000 in second year, NZ$2,000 in third year (Total value: NZ$10,000)
·  Tenure: Three years

Important Information:

  • Eligible programmes are are bachelor’s degree and master’s degree of 120 points or more in duration within the Faculty of Design and Creative Technologies.
  • International students are not citizens, permanent residents nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia.
  • The scholarship will be paid as a compulsory fees credit towards the first year of study in a master’s degree or over three years for a bachelor’s degree at AUT.
  • AUT is not obliged to make an award if there is no candidate of sufficient merit.
  • The regulations are periodically reviewed by the University Scholarships Committee and are subject to change.
