Brief Description:

Funded by the AUT Business School and a generous donation from the NEXT Foundation, the scholarships support Bachelor of Business students to undertake an international exchange at a partner university’s business school. The purpose of the Business International Exchange Scholarships is to assist students for whom financial circumstances may otherwise make an overseas exchange difficult to pursue.

Amount and Type of Award:

• The Business School scholarship is up to $5000 per recipient.
• The NEXT Foundation scholarship is $5000 per recipient.

The scholarships support travel and accommodation costs associated with their approved international exchange. The number of scholarships offered varies from semester to semester. Payment will be made to the student upon acceptance and confirmation of a place at the host university, and acceptance of the scholarship. The Scholarship selection panel determines which scholarship is awarded to the recipient.

Tenure:

The tenure of this scholarship is for one semester or may be allocated across two semesters upon approval from the Business School Associate Dean International.
