Brief Description:

The Office of Māori Advancement provides accommodation scholarships to support Māori students residing in approved AUT accommodation.

Description:

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) provides undergraduate scholarships to recognise student academic achievement, potential leadership ability and contribution to the school, community or cultural pursuits.

Applicants must be currently studying a New Zealand secondary school qualification and be NZ Citizens of NZ Māori descent (Cook Island Māori are not eligible to apply).

Amount and Type of Award:

A total of $12,000 paid as an accommodation supplement in the semester immediately following application, for residence in an approved AUT Halls of Residence, to be paid directly to the relevant Halls of Residence.

Tenure:

The scholarship is awarded for one year only.
