Woolf Fisher First-in-Family AUT Scholarship - 2025

Brief Description:

The Woolf Fisher First-in-Family AUT Scholarship was established in 2014 by the Woolf Fisher Trust. The award is intended to acknowledge, celebrate, and support undergraduate students from families with no history of degree level study. AUT University has a strong history of support and encouragement for students for whom university study is a challenge for family, financial and/or cultural reasons.

Amount and Type of Award:

Up to thirteen scholarships will be awarded annually.
  • Recipients not eligible for fees free will receive full tuition fees and compulsory student services levies for each year of full-time enrolment.
  • Recipients eligible for fees free will receive $2,500 on successful completion of the first semester of study in the fee's free year.
  • All recipients will be awarded a $2,500 stipend on successful completion of semester 1 papers in each year in which tuition fees are paid.


Tenure:

  • Up to three years of undergraduate study full-time in a degree programme
