Faculty of Culture and Society Strategic Research Scholarships

Brief Description:

To encourage and stimulate full-time domestic and international students into Doctoral and Master of Philosophy studies for Schools and Institutes within the Faculty of Culture and Society.

Amount and Type of Award:

  • The scholarships will consist of domestic tuition fees for full-time study (120 points per annum), Student Services Levy and a stipend of $10,000.
  • The scholarships are open to Domestic and International students. While international students are eligible to apply for these scholarships, the tuition fees component of the scholarship will not exceed the level of domestic tuition fees for the programme and will not cover Insurance fees for International students.
  • The scholarship does not cover the resitting of any failed papers.


Tenure:

  • The scholarship is awarded for a maximum of one year.
  • There is no automatic renewal. Applicants in a programme with a normal duration of more than one year such as the Doctor of Philosophy may reapply to be considered for the scholarship on a contestable basis for subsequent years of study in the eligible programme.
