Brief Description:

The HOPE Foundation for Research on Ageing Scholarships are intended to support University students in the early stages of their careers conducting research into ageing. The HOPE Foundation for Research on Ageing is a non-Government funded Charitable Trust established to prepare New Zealand for an ageing future. 

New Zealand has an ageing population and research is needed to address the many issues arising from this demographic change. The HOPE Foundation for Research on Ageing encourages research at both an individual and societal level.

Amount and Type of Award:

  • The value of the scholarship is $6,000.
  • One scholarship will be awarded annually.
  • The Scholarship will be paid in two installments, at the beginning of each semester.


Tenure:

  • The scholarship will be awarded for a period of one year
