Business, Economics and Law Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship - June Round

Brief Description:

The purpose of the Business, Economics and Law Postgraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship is to encourage students with an excellent academic record to undertake postgraduate research in the Faculty of Business and Law.

Amount and Type of Award:

At least one scholarship will be available for applicants of Maori descent

At least one scholarship will be available for applicants of Pasifika descent

The Scholarship is available to full-time domestic and international students and consists of the equivalent of full-time domestic tuition fees (up to a maximum of 120 points per year) and compulsory student services fees.

Tenure:

  • The tenure of the scholarship for recipients enrolled in the Bachelor of Business (Honours), the Master of Laws and the Master of Philosophy is for up to one year of full-time study.
  • The tenure of the scholarship for recipients enrolled in the Master of Business is for up to 18 months of full-time study.
  • Students completing a Bachelor of Business (Honours) under the scholarship may have the scholarship renewed for subsequent enrolment in the Master of Business or the Master of Philosophy, provided they have achieved a first class honours or equivalent. In exceptional circumstances, a recipient may apply to the Scholarships Office for a deferment of his or her scholarship.
