AUT International Excellence Scholarships

Brief Description:

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) provides scholarships to recognise and support high achieving international students as they begin their journey in becoming great graduates of AUT.

Amount and Type of Award:

AUT International Excellence Scholarships are divided into the following categories:

  • Postgraduate Excellence:
        New full-fee paying international students undertaking a postgraduate diploma or master’s degree (taught and research) with New Zealand (onshore) or         overseas (offshore) tertiary qualifications, including current AUT International House GIE English students. Returning AUT students are not eligible.
        Value: $7,500
  • Undergraduate Excellence
        New full-fee paying international students undertaking a undergraduate degree or graduate diploma with New Zealand (onshore) or overseas (offshore)         secondary or post-secondary qualifications, including current AUT International House GIE English and AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies students.
        Returning AUT students are not eligible.
        Value: $7,500
  • English Pathway Excellence
        New full-fee paying international students with a conditional offer to study an AUT programme and undertaking the GIE AUT University         entrance/preparation programme (English for Academic Purposes) at AUT International House.
        Value: $3,000
  • Study Abroad Excellence
        New full-fee paying international students undertaking the Study Abroad (Certificate of Proficiency) programme for one or two semesters at AUT.
        Value: $2,000


Tenure:

  • The scholarship is awarded for one year only.
