Woolf Fisher First-in-Family AUT Scholarship

Brief Description:

The Woolf Fisher First-in-Family AUT Scholarship was established in 2014 by the Woolf Fisher Trust. The award is intended to acknowledge, celebrate, and support undergraduate students from families with no history of degree level study. AUT University has a strong history of support and encouragement for students for whom university study is a challenge for family, financial and/or cultural reasons.

Amount and Type of Award:

  • Up to thirteen scholarships will be awarded annually
  • Recipients eligible for first year fees free will receive $2500 on successful completion of their first semester of study, then full tuition fees and compulsory student services levies for full-time enrolment in the second and third year of enrolment.
  • Recipients not eligible for first year fees free will receive full tuition fees and compulsory student services levies for each year of full-time enrolment.


Tenure:

  • Up to three years of undergraduate study full-time in a degree programme
