AUT International Excellence Scholarships - Faculty of Culture and Society

Brief Description:

Auckland University of Technology (AUT) and the Faculty of Culture and Society provide scholarships to recognise and support high achieving international students as they begin their journey in becoming great graduates of AUT.

Amount and Type of Award:

AUT International Excellence Scholarships - Faculty of Culture and Society are divided into the following categories:

Onshore:
  • Undergraduate Excellence:
    • New to AUT, full fee-paying international students undertaking an undergraduate degree or graduate diploma in the Faculty of Culture and Society with New Zealand secondary or post-secondary qualifications, including AUT Certificate in Foundation Studies students.
    Value: $7,000
  • Masters Excellence:
    • New to AUT, full fee-paying international students undertaking a master’s degree (taught and research) in the Faculty of Culture and Society with New Zealand tertiary qualifications.
    Value: $7,000
  • Alumni Excellence:
    • Returning new to programme, full fee-paying international students undertaking a master’s degree (taught and research) in the Faculty of Culture and Society with an AUT undergraduate degree.
    Value: $7,000

    Offshore:
  • Online Postgraduate Excellence:
    • New to AUT international students undertaking postgraduate programmes in the Faculty of Culture and Society available to be taken online. Applicants must indicate that they are willing to return to onshore New Zealand once border restrictions ease or be eligible under border exception category.
    Value: $7,000

      Tenure:

      • The scholarship is awarded for one year only.
